Washington, May2, 2007 - Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) has reintroduced the Health Freedom Protection Act, H.R. 2117, which will end FDA and FTC censorship of food-based health claims and ensure that consumers are given truthful and full information about the science supporting the health-enhancing effects of foods and dietary supplements.


The Organic Label Will Mean: No Cloned Animals, Period

Washington, April 17, 2007 - The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), an expert advisory panel to the USDA’s National Organic Program, has made it clear that organic agriculture should not allow the use of cloned animals or their offspring in the production of organic food.  The NOSB voted at their spring meeting in Washington, DC to exclude cloned animals, their offspring, and any food products from cloned animals from the organic sector.


Splenda Side Effects Hotline Established

Citizens for Health (CFH), the national grassroots advocacy organization committed to protecting and expanding natural health choices, has announced the establishment of 1-888-774- CALL (2255), a hotline for consumers who believe they are suffering side effects from the use of the artificial sweetener Splenda.
