What Inspires Us

With major health care reform a central national issue, all eyes are on the best ways to fix a system that is highly dysfunctional

Since conventional corporate and “Big Government” anti-individual values are clearly misaligned with the interests of ordinary Americans, it is now more important than ever for us as individuals to take greater personal responsibility for the decisions that affect our health and that of our families.

We, at CFH believe that profound health is the vital foundation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and is itself a fundamental human right. We agree with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) definition of health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

The WHO notes that Australian Aboriginal people generally define health to “not just mean the physical well-being of the individual but  [but also] the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural well-being of the whole community.”

We agree with both of the above inclusive definitions of health and are likewise passionately committed to unfettered citizen-consumer access to natural health choices.  Both distinct from and integrated into current practices, natural health therapies can reduce costs and virtually eliminate dangerous, expensive side effects. In short, natural health choices support healthy citizens and a vibrant economy.

As Winston Churchill famously said, “Healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have.”
