i do agree what the editor has spoken, yet it's really sad that the majority of the population does not see it, "that a huge amount of money has been taken out of their pockets" for some health care that they don't avail of perhaps until the majority will see respond to this there might be changes but for now i don't see any changes will happen :(

This is most outrageous. We the people do not want or need any governmental intrusion into our personal lives. If we choose to use alternative medications and remedies it is OUR Choice. Big Pharma is a greed master that is trying to increase its outrageous profit margins by dictating our personal choices. Additionally, if people choose to use alternative medications/supplements they should be part of the Health Care Plan. We know our bodies, we have a high functioning brain, we do not need to be threatened by Big Pharma and its chemicals. We the users of alternative medicines and treatments are very attuned to our bodies and care for them accordingly. No government intrusion. The prescription drugs that flood the market are a "one size fits all". Ridiculous way to "practce medcine" or encourage personal wellness.

There are provisions in the Senate version of the bill that was currently passed that would prevent discrimination against all licensed healthcare professionals, traditional or CAM.

Yes! - If people chose holistic medicine they should be covered by health insurance. It would however be interesting to do a study on whether users of holistic medicine have less need for health insurance, as they take greater responsibility for their health and are therefore less liable to have to pay huge hospital costs etc.
